What depacto collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Last updated 2 October 2026
depacto is operated by DEPACTO LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17464624. DEPACTO LTD is the data controller for the personal data described here.
Our registered office is 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom.
For anything about your data, including any request under this policy, contact playon@depacto.fun.
DEPACTO LTD is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZC262356.
From your sign-in provider, when you create an account: your email address and the display name held on that account. We never receive your password.
From you, when you create an account: your date of birth, which we ask for once to check you are old enough to use depacto. It is stored on your account record, it cannot be changed afterwards, and it is never shown to anyone.
From you, as you play: the username you choose; your predictions in every game; your scores, stars, streaks and achievements; your favourite competitions and teams; your notification preferences.
From how you use the app: your friend connections and friend requests; messages and reactions you post in chats; challenges you send and receive; tournaments you join; daily sign-in streaks.
Automatically: a session identifier and sign-in token held in your browser, and basic technical information needed to serve the app.
We do not collect payment details. There is nothing to pay for.
We do not ask for your address, phone number or location.
To run your account and let you play — including settling predictions and maintaining your star balance. This is necessary to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract).
To operate the social features — friends, chat, challenges, leaderboards. Also performance of a contract.
To send you the notifications you have switched on, such as a reminder before a match you have predicted on. Consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings.
To check you are old enough to use depacto, using the date of birth you give us when you create your account. Our legal obligations around age-appropriate services, including the requirements that come with app store distribution and the ICO Age Appropriate Design Code, and our legitimate interest in keeping depacto out of the hands of children too young to use it.
To keep depacto working and fair — fixing faults, investigating multiple accounts or manipulation, and keeping the service secure. Our legitimate interest in a service that works and is not abused.
To meet our legal obligations where they apply.
Visible to other players: your username, your avatar, your scores and star totals, your leaderboard position, your achievements, and anything you post in a chat you share with them.
Never visible to other players: your email address and your date of birth. Neither is shown anywhere in the app, and neither is included in any data the app sends to another player’s device.
If you have not chosen a username yet, you appear as "Player".
Base44 — hosts the app, its database and its sign-in. Your account record and everything you do in the app is stored on their infrastructure.
SportMonks — supplies match data. We send them no personal data; the flow is one-way, into the app.
Your sign-in provider — confirms who you are when you sign in. We receive your email address and display name from them.
An AI service, accessed through Base44 — generates the optional in-app insights and tournament summaries. We send it match and performance data, and usernames where a summary names a player. We do not send it your email address.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising. There is no advertising in depacto.
Your data is held on our platform provider’s infrastructure and may be processed outside the UK. Where it is, we rely on the safeguards our providers put in place for international transfers.
Your account and play history are kept while your account is open.
When you close your account we delete your personal data, and anonymise anything that has to remain for the integrity of past results and leaderboards — a settled fixture keeps its scores, but they stop being connected to you.
Chat messages you posted may remain visible to the people you sent them to, shown against a deleted user.
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to us using it. You can also ask for it in a portable form.
If you are signed in you can do two of these yourself, right now, at the bottom of this page: download everything we hold about your play, and go straight to deleting your account.
We will always reply from, and accept requests at, playon@depacto.fun.
You can change your username and notification preferences at any time in Settings.
We answer requests within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
depacto is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Where a change materially affects how we use your data, we will let you know in advance, for example in the app or by email.
